Built on real algorithm weights
Most "best time to post" tools guess. We don't. SiftX uses the actual engagement weights from twitter/the-algorithm — the open-source repo X published in 2023.
A reply is worth 27x more than a like. A bookmark is worth 6x. A retweet is 2x. These weights directly determine how X ranks and distributes your content in the For You feed.
The extension also tracks the 30-minute velocity window — the critical early engagement period that X's algorithm uses to decide whether to amplify your post.

Will this get my account banned?
No. SiftX makes zero additional API calls. It only reads data X already sends your browser. Blocking uses native DOM clicks — the same as clicking "Block" yourself, just faster. X cannot distinguish this from normal browser activity because it is normal activity.
How does the blocking work?
SiftX clicks X's own UI buttons: the "..." menu, then "Block", then "Confirm". It's the exact same flow as doing it manually, just automated. Red badges (score 70+) auto-confirm. Amber badges (50–69) open the dialog and let you decide.
Does it access the X API?
No. It never calls the X API directly. It intercepts GraphQL responses that X's own frontend already fetches as you scroll your timeline, view notifications, and check analytics. No API keys, no OAuth tokens, no additional requests.
How accurate is the bot detection?
Every follower is scored using multiple signals: default profile images, suspicious follower/following ratios, name patterns (Elon/Musk impersonators get an instant 100), account age, post count, and more. You always see the score and reasons before acting.
Does it work with Brave or other Chromium browsers?
Yes. Any Chromium-based browser that supports Manifest V3 extensions works: Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc, Opera, Vivaldi. Use your browser's extensions page to load it unpacked.
Where is my data stored?
Everything stays in your browser's local IndexedDB storage. No data is sent to any server, ever. No backend, no analytics, no tracking. Your engagement data and follower scores never leave your machine.
What if X changes their API?
SiftX is built to handle X's frequent API changes. Its parsers use recursive finders and optional chaining to adapt to structural variations. If something does break, updates are free forever.
Why isn't this in the Chrome Web Store?
The Chrome Web Store removed support for paid extensions in 2020. To intercept GraphQL responses, the extension needs MAIN world script injection — which requires Developer Mode. The install takes about 90 seconds and full instructions are included after purchase.
